Our return policy

New, Unused, and Unopened Returns

We're happy to accept returns of new, unused, and unopened products within 45 days of delivery. You'll be responsible for return shipping costs, and we'll process your refund for the item's cost minus the original shipping charges (this includes orders which qualified for free shipping). Once we receive and inspect your return to confirm it's in original condition, we'll issue your refund within 7 business days. To start a return, please email us at order@alphagrounding.ca.

Opened Returns

All opened products can be returned within 30 days of delivery. You'll be responsible for return shipping costs, and we'll process your refund for the item's cost minus the original shipping charges (this includes orders which qualified for free shipping). All refunds are subject to a potential restocking fee based on condition and type of product - typical restocking fee is 10 - 20%. Once we receive and inspect your return to confirm its condition, we'll issue your refund within 7 business days. To start a return, please email us at order@alphagrounding.ca.

Warranty Returns

Most earthing and grounding products come with a 1-year manufacturers warranty. If you have a defective product, please email us at order@alphagrounding.ca. For more information regarding Warranty, please see our warranty policy.

We will provide you with a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and a free shipping label so you may return it. Depending on circumstances and availability, we give you the option to either exchange the defective item or accept a refund for the cost of the defective item.

We require that returns include all original components (like testers, adapters, cords, etc). If items are returned damaged or missing components, we may need to apply a restocking fee based on replacement costs.

After we've received your return we will inspect and test the item to verify the defect.

Open Box, Refurbished, Final Sale, and Clearance Items

Items marked as "Open Box", "Refurbished", "Final Sale", or "Clearance" are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

International Returns

International customers are responsible for all return shipping costs and any customs duties or fees associated with the return. We recommend using a trackable shipping method with insurance for international returns.

Exchanges

While we can facilitate exchanges, we do not process them automatically. You'll have to cover the cost of returning the original item and any shipping fees for the new item. A potential restocking fee may apply. If you'd like a different item, we recommend just returning the original item and placing a new order separately. This ensures faster processing for both your refund and new purchase.

Packing your Items for Return

To help ensure your return arrives safely and to protect your right to a return, please pack your return using the same materials and packaging it arrived in. We ask that you ship items back in their original box with all original packing materials and (if paying for shipping yourself) consider adding insurance. If items aren't returned in their original packaging, you'll be responsible for any damage that occurs during shipping, and we may need to deduct the cost of replacements from your refund.

We require that returns include all original components (like testers, adapters, cords, etc). If items are returned damaged or missing components, we may need to apply a restocking fee based on replacement costs.

Original Shipping Charges

Please note that we're unable to refund original shipping, handling, or insurance charges. Orders that qualified for free shipping will have the actual cost of shipping deducted from your refund.

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)

All returns must include your RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number clearly marked on the outside of the package or return label. This helps us process your return quickly and efficiently. Returns without an RMA number will be refused and returned to the sender, which delays the process for everyone.

RMA's are only valid for 2 weeks and the item must be shipped within the 2 weeks. After 15 days the RMA is automatically voided and will be refused should a customer attempt a return after the 15-day period.

If you are paying for return shipping and are able to provide us with a tracking number we highly recommend doing so to help ensure your return arrives safely.

Customs, COD, Damaged Parcels

We will not accept items damaged by the courier, requiring payment of shipping or custom charges, or anything requiring COD.

Unacceptable Returns

Returned items deemed unacceptable will not be issued a refund and will be discarded. If the customer wishes the item returned to them then they must cover shipping expenses and accept full liability and responsibility for the package and contents including but not limited to loss, theft, damage, etc. If after 7 business days we have not heard from you, we will consider the item abandoned and discard it.

Refund Processing

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for purchase. Please allow 5-10 business days for refunds to appear on your statement after we've processed them. If you paid by credit card, the refund may appear as a credit on your next statement.
